Nicole Miner's Letter of Recommendation from the Ronald McDonald House

To Whom It May Concern:

Although this may be an overlooked task, I feel that I must bring to your attention the outstanding services that Ms. Nicole Miner was provided to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of New Mexico. I am, of course, very delighted to have had the pleasure working with Ms. Miner on multiple events and services she has provided our facility and our families.

Ms. Miner has worked diligently with the House staff to create a reading program for the children and families that use our facility. This program has received positive feedback from not just staff but also the families that participate in the bi-weekly event. This event provides parents a chance to relax, while their children are learning the importance of literacy.

Ms. Miner also participates with the delivery of baskets from Baskets of Hope. These baskets are provided to families how have newborns admitted to any hospital in the metro area. These baskets provide families with cameras, blankets, cards with postage, and much, much more. To many families these items are the first gifts provided to their newborn, as many our premature. It also lets them know that they are not alone during this difficult time.

During Make a Difference Week, October 2009, Ms. Miner coordinated the delivery food for the volunteers that were participating in a variety of activities at our facility. She also provided gifts for the children of the house.

The contributions that Ms. Miner has provided to our facility will always be remembered by the families. Her generosity and graciousness is much appreciated by staff and families alike. We are truly blessed to have such a dedicated young lady working with our organization.

Sincerely,
Suzi Mattson
